to promote or not to promote?

Hmmmm, I don't generally promote my site because I want to see if word-of-mouth, etc will be enough. It just feels a bit cheesy..... But perhaps I should because it would be nice to have critiques of my work and where it is going. I'm very interested in indigenous culture lately. Well, time to stop writing and shooting a bit more photos.
